In 2008, PhotoVoice and Young Lives partnered again with the aim to use photography, texts and discussion to capture the children’s perceptions on health and related issues and to learn they relate these issues to their daily lives. The information will be used to add a child’s perspective to this area of the Young Lives project.

Young Lives is an innovative longitudinal study of childhood poverty in Ethiopia, India, Peru and Vietnam. Between 2002 and 2015, some 2000 children in each country are being tracked and surveyed at 3-4 year intervals from aged one until they reach 14 years of age
