Trustee (voluntary position)
PhotoVoice is adding to its trustees and is looking for a legally qualified individual to join its board. The position would suit a partner or senior associate in a law firm with a passion for photography and a special interest in international development. Trustees meet four times a year and make themselves available as necessary between meetings to advise management.
The new trustee would join an existing board of nine trustees and would particularly offer advice and guidance on legal matters in the areas of intellectual property, HR and charity law. He/she would also bring general business management and commercial expertise. The successful candidate would not be expected to act for the charity professionally.
