In November 2006, PhotoVoice moved into the second phase of the Moving Lives project working with young unaccompanied refugees in East London. Between October 2006 and December 2007, PhotoVoice ran a series of 8-day photography workshops for newly arrived unaccompanied refugees at Trinity Community Centre in East London.
Twelve of the young photographers trained through the Moving Lives workshops have gone on to take part in the New Londoners mentoring scheme, pairing up with professional photographers to produce work featuring in a high quality photography book launched in August 2008, published by Trolley Books.
