Wee Fi Life
A youth development project - Kingston, Jamaica, Summer 2006
Wee Fi Life is a project run by a group of Britain-based photojournalists and creatives who have worked internationally in Jamaica and have been inspired to give something back to the people of Kingston by sharing their skills in photography and journalism.
In Summer 2006 Wee Fi Life will give the children of the Kingston ghettos a chance to express their resilience and optimism through the use of photography, allowing them to report and reflect on the issues that face them every day in the downtown districts in which they live. Equipped with cameras, the children will be able to reveal and question those problems, criticize the failings of the system they are part of, and celebrate the spirit of the community.
