"When I grow up I want to be an architect"
This project provided a creative outlet to help children deal with the effects of war and siege. In co-operation with the children's charity Hope and Homes for Children, Glasgow psychology graduate and amateur photographer Chris Leslie, implemented the project in June 1997 until June 2001 in Sarajevo Orphanage.
In a specially constructed darkroom, children from six to 16 years learnt the basics of black and white photography and then set out to document life in their city.
A Child's View project continued into Sudan in 2002, working with former street children and children from displacement camps.
