PhotoVoice Auction 2007
PhotoVoice's 5th annual auction of photographs was a tremendous success, raising £80,500 in support of PhotoVoice projects.
Philip Garner, International Head of Photographs at Christie's said, "How fitting it is that one of the key dates in the PhotoVoice calendar should be a benefit auction. We can admire...examples of fine photography by both established masters and exciting younger talents, 
and - even better - we can bid to acquire pictures that capture our imagination, happy in the thought that every penny will contribute directly to the PhotoVoice programme."
The live auction, expertly led by Jeffrey Archer, raised a record breaking £41,000. Among this year’s contributors were Philip Jones Griffiths, Robert Doisneau, Sarah Moon, Nicolas Bruant, Martin Parr, Lucien 
Clergue, John Swannell, Oliver Follmi, Tony McGee, Nadav Kander, Andreas Bitesnich, Marc Riboud, Jane Bown, George Rodger and Jacques Henri Lartigue.
PhotoVoice is immensely grateful to the 91 photographers, agencies and galleries who donated exceptional prints to be auctioned; to the 300 guests who joined us for the evening and in particular to those 
who bid so generously; and to the team of 30 volunteers who worked tirelessly to ensure the evening ran smoothly.
