How to bid

The 84 prints in the auction are divided into a live auction of 32 lots and a silent auction of 52 lots. If you would like to bid on any lot you will need to register first.

Live Auction (Lots 1-32)
To register for the live auction please email events@photovoice.org or call +44 (0)20 7613 0216.

Absentee bids and telephone bidding can be arranged should you be unable to attend the Auction.

Silent Auction (Lots 33-84)
Silent auction bidding will be open from midday on 14th November, closing at 9.30pm on 22nd November 2011. This year we are taking bids for the silent auction by mobile phone and you can register in one of the
following ways:

1. Email events@photovoice.org or call +44 (0)20 7613 0216.  Once we have confirmed your registration, you will receive a text to let you know when you can start bidding.

2. From the 14th Novermber, you can start bidding via text -
i) select the lot you would like to bid for
ii) text LOT, then the lot number followed by a space and the amount you wish to bid in pounds to 88850 (e.g. LOT 33 500).
We will then call you to finalise your registration and payment details.

Standard network charges apply. You will not be charged for texts you receive from us.

Terms and Conditions

By submitting a bid in the live or silent auction you are entering into a contract and agree to pay the full amount if your bid is successful. All winning bidders will be notified by Thursday 24th November.

Prints are sold as seen at the preview/on the evening of the Auction and cannot be refunded or returned. Our returns policy does not affect your statutory rights.

All images carry a reserve price and will be left unsold if this is not met. Bids under this amount will only be accepted at the discretion of PhotoVoice.

Prints are framed for the purpose of the event. PhotoVoice will not be responsible for the re-framing of any of the purchased prints.

Lots won can be taken away at the end of the auction. Payment should be made in full, in pounds sterling, and can be made on the night of the auction at the Payment Room or by contacting PhotoVoice after the event.

If you are unable to collect your print on the night a charge for delivery of the print may be incurred. PhotoVoice does not arrange international delivery.
